Task & Project Management
Closed beta · invite only
Simple today.
Yours to shape.
Lupineo is in closed beta. It does the core things well, but it’s honestly missing a few things. Every couple of days it gets closer to what our first testers actually ask for.

What it does today
A small core, done properly.
No dependency graphs, no automations, no AI tokens you need to pay extra. Bring your own AI if you like and connect directly with your data. Otherwise lets focus on the essentials every team needs and lets do them right.
Lists and boards, no setup.
Make a project, add tasks, drag them around. You’ll have the hang of it inside a minute – no tutorial, no onboarding call required.
Edit anything, in place.
Click a due date, an owner, a status – change it right where it sits. No modal, no edit mode, no save button to forget.
Comments where the work is.
@mention someone on the task itself, not in a separate inbox. In six months the decision is still sitting next to the thing it decided.
What we’re aiming for
Four things we refuse to get wrong.
Not a feature list – the standards we hold every decision against while we build towards 1.0.
01
Compliance that isn’t an add-on.
Hosted in the EU on European infrastructure – no US cloud in the path. A proper data processing agreement, your data stays yours, and nothing is ever used to train a model. Built by people who do GDPR for a living.
02
Simple, yet powerful.
We’re not chasing 200 features that clutter the day. Every feature has to make sense the first time you meet it – depth where it helps, nothing where it doesn’t.
03
Clever, and model-agnostic.
Connect the tools you already work in so you stop paying the context-switch tax. Bring your own AI if you want one – Claude, Gemini, OpenAI, whatever your policy allows. We don’t resell tokens and we don’t pick your vendor.
04
Pricing that matches reality.
No buying ten seats for a team of six, no annual minimum to unlock the basics. You pay for what you actually use, and it stays legible on the invoice.
The product
The actual thing, warts and all.
Real screens from the beta build – not a polished mock-up of a product that doesn’t exist yet.
Questions you might have.
What does “beta” actually mean here?
The core is stable and teams use it daily, but features are still landing and you will hit the occasional rough edge. It is free for invited teams, and you get a direct line to the people building it.
What features are already in there?
The feature list changes on a daily basis and updates happen as soon as a feature is done. The aim for the beta is to do the core things right and find & fix bugs before paying clients stumble upon them. We will post about new features on a regular basis in our blog.
What features will be in the final version?
Our aim is to have a fully functional task and project management tool that can easily compete with other similar tools. See more in our blog.
Where is our data stored?
One of our main goals is to be really GDPR compliant and compliant with other European regulations. Therefore we will not use any US companies in our supply chain (e.g. no US-cloud providers or such). Data is hosted in Europe (Cologne, DE) at European companies without any US parent company (see also FISA/US Cloud Act).
What happens when the beta ends?
Beta testers will receive a 2-year free version after beta ends and a 50% rebate on all standard prices thereafter.
Why does the world need another task & project management tool?
The short answer: Because we were not satisfied with the other tools 😉
For the long answer, please see our blog.
Come build it with us.
Lupineo is invite-only while we’re in closed beta. Bring one real project, use it for a week, and tell us the single thing that’s missing. We answer every message – and a lot of them turn into next sprint.
